Intex has launched its new smartphone dubbed Aqua Xtreme II, which is the successor to the Intex Aqua Xtreme, that released last year. The device has been priced at Rs 9,590 and will be available with online retailers. The device is available in white, black, Champagne and Silver colour variants. In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM Intex Aqua Xtreme II sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor paired with 2GB RAM. The smartphone has an inbuilt storage of 16GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front facing camera. Some of the features include scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot and HDR. The Aqua Xtreme II runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, FM radio and Bluetooth. It packs in a 2000mAh battery and Intex claims that the smartphone will deliver a talk time of 8 hours along with a standby time of 300 hours. The Intex Aqua Xtreme II also allows users to access apps directly from the lock screen without unlocking the phone and comes pre-loaded with Intex Service App for after sales support, ASK ME, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, Start, Dr. Safety, Teen Patti, Truecaller and more. During the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head at Intex Technologies said, “At Intex we continuously endeavour to provide the consumers enhanced value by keeping them in sync with ever-changing technology. Aqua Extreme II is yet another example of this effort and steps into the slot vacated by its hugely popular predecessor ‘Aqua Extreme’.
