Intex Aqua HD 5.0, Aqua Y2 smartphones listed online starting at Rs 5,190

Intex has quietly listed two new smartphones on its official site, the Aqua HD 5.0 and the Aqua Y2, priced at Rs 7,790 and Rs 5,190 respectively. The Aqua HD 5.0 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB RAM. It runs rather older Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Intex Aqua HD features 8GB in-built storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On the camera front, one can expect a 13-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2300mAh battery completes the package. The next in the line is the Aqua Y2 with a 4-inch WVGA IPS display and running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It comes powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor along with 1GB RAM. Some of the specs in the list include 8GB onboard storage, expandable up to 64 GB through a microSD car, 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. It also packs in a 1400mAH battery.
