Sony recently announced the launch of two new variants in their Xperia series of Android smartphones – the Xperia GX and the Xperia SX. Both of these phones would be available in the Japanese market from Summer 2012. However, the availability or pricing for a worldwide launch or for the Indian sub-region hadn’t been announced. Now, a video has surfaced on YouTube that showcases a device that looks very similar to the Xperia GX – which immediately begs the question, is the device coming soon to an Xperia store near you? Looking at the specs of the Xperia GX and the pricing of their new dual-core phones, we’re hoping that it does. There’s no update on the availability of the Xperia SX, but there are chances that the device may be made available internationally as well.
