PCMag reported that chip giant Intel pledged to invest $300 million over the next five years to improve the diversity of the company’s workforce.

At the same event, Intel also introduced a  Compute Stick for TVs . “More than just a media stick like the Amazon Fire TV Stick, the Compute Stick essentially squeezes the power of a tablet into the size of a pack of gum. While it can handle media streaming duties via its HDMI 1.4a port, its other specs let you do much more,” points out  ZDnet .

The company also unveiled  Curie , a tiny hardware module that lets anyone create a smart wearable. This is a tiny hardware product based on the company’s first purpose-built system-on-chip (SoC) for wearable devices. The module includes the Intel Quark chip, Bluetooth low-energy radio, sensors and battery charging.
