Instagram update allows you to moderate comments and prioritise friends' comments

Instagram has just announced that it will be rolling out an update which will include a comment moderation feature. All users on Instagram will now get the ability to have control over the comments that they get on their pictures. This feature was first launched for all business accounts a few months back and now it will the photo-sharing social network is making its default and custom comment keyword blacklisting feature available to all users. One will now have the ability to either enable a filter that will block a default list of words set by Instagram to hide from their photo comments or they can just choose certain words that they don’t want to see in the comments on their posts.  Another change that will coming with the new update is the way how comments are shown on each picture. Instead of showing the two most recent comments, users will now see their friends’ comments before, just like you see on Facebook. It’s Instagram’s way of making your profile more personalised. “The beauty of the Instagram community is the diversity of its members. All different types of people — from diverse backgrounds, races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities and more — call Instagram home, but sometimes the comments on their posts can be unkind.
