Instagram is testing a new feature where you will be notified whenever someone takes a screenshot or a screen recording of your Instagram Stories.
In a report by TechCrunch, a few Twitter users have posted about receiving this update.
Just like the way you get to know who viewed your Instagram Stories, similarly, Instagram will introduce a shutter icon, which appears near all the names of those who took a screenshot or a personal recording of your Stories.
Good bye freedom to screenshot IG stories. 💔 Thank you, Instagram for the warning. pic.twitter.com/y0pEaVR0Jq

One tweet said that Instagram also warns, "Next time you take a screenshot or screen recording, the person who posted the story will be able to see."
This update is only in the testing phase. Therefore, in order to test this, both, the one whose Stories' screenshot was taken and one who posts the Instagram Story must have the feature to test.
This is one of the new features in the long list of updates that Instagram has been rolling out. Instagram is actively making small incremental updates which do not bring anything major to the app, but is adding more value to it.
Before this, Instagram had added fonts to texts on Instagram Stories. This allows you to add stylised fonts to your Instagram Stories.
