The photo-sharing app has rolled out an option where users can add GIF stickers to their Instagram Stories.

According to Instagram’s blog post, GIPHY will be sharing its database with Instagram. Therefore, users will get a host of options where they can add GIFs to their Stories.

So from now on, whenever you open the sticker option to add fun stickers to your stories, a new GIF option will also appear beside it.

Through this, you can add GIFs such as popping eyeballs, techno-coloured goggles, or floating burgers.

It has not come to all devices yet and Instagram will be rolling out this update in batches.

Apart from this, Instagram will also rollout another feature where the user does not have to crop out their friends while posting pictures on Instagram Stories.

Sometimes when we want to share big group pictures on Instagram Stories and because of its limited tolerance for portrait modes, we have to miss out on posting group photos, which lends itself well to landscape orientation rather than portrait one which works on Stories. The new feature solves that problem.
