InFocus has announced a new PC-on-stick device which is basically a battery powered PC device running Windows 10 modeled like a smartphone. It is available for purchase via  Newegg for a price of $99 (approximately Rs 6,400) and will also go on sale at Microsoft Stores by mid November. There is no information provided as to if and when the device will be available in India. In terms of specifications, the Kangaroo sports a Black Satin aluminium finish and is powered by an Intel Cherrytrail SOC along with 2GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 32GB, which can be further expanded via a microSD card. The device also features an on-board battery which is said to last up to four hours of ‘casual use’. The standalone Kangaroo Dock, which one can swap out for other future docks includes an HDMI port and two USB ports respectively. The device weighs just 200g and measures 124mm tall, 80.5mm wide and 12.9mm thick. “Consumers own many different devices including tablets, laptops and desktop PCs. Each device is used in different locations for different purposes. Kangaroo is the first product to allow you to use the same PC for all applications, in any environment,” said InFocus’ marketing boss Lawrence Yen. “Unlike stick PCs and other pocket PCs, Kangaroo works with all of your existing devices and can be docked at home or tossed in your bag to use anywhere, powering and providing Windows 10 access on the go.”
