IFA 2015: Lenovo unveils Vibe P1, Vibe S1, Phab Plus and more

Lenovo made a string of announcements at the IFA event and introduced smartphones, tablets and much more. The company has announced has officially announced three new smartphones, the Vibe P1, Vibe P1m and Vibe S1. In addition, the company also introduced new Phab and Phab Plus tablets.

IFA 2015: Lenovo unveils Vibe P1, Vibe S1, Phab Plus and more

Lenovo made a string of announcements at the IFA event and introduced smartphones, tablets and much more. The company has announced has officially announced three new smartphones, the Vibe P1, Vibe P1m and Vibe S1. In addition, the company also introduced new Phab and Phab Plus tablets. ![Lenovo_640](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Lenovo_640.jpg) For starters, the Lenovo Vibe P1 smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Full HD display and is powered by an octa-core 64-bit 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB RAM. The device sports an aluminium frame along with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. It includes a 12MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. In addition, the device includes an internal storage of 32GB and can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. It will be available in Platinum and Graphite Grey colour variants at a price of  $279 (approximately Rs 18,500). ![Lenovo2_640](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Lenovo2_640.jpg) Next up is  the Vibe P1m sports a 5.0-inch IPS LCD Full HD display and is powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P processor paired with 2GB RAM. it includes an internal storage of 16GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It includes an 8MP rear camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. The device includes supports dual Micro SIM cards and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. The smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and is has a plastic-built along with a splash-proof nano coating to keep the phone dry. The device will be available in Onyx Black and Pearl White colour variants this month at a price of $159. It includes an internal storage of 32GB and can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In addition, the phone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus, an 8MP main front-facing shooter along with a 2MP secondary front camera. It is backed by a 2500mAh non-removable battery and supports dual Nano SIM cards. The Lenovo VIBE S1 will be available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colour variants for a price of $299(approximately Rs 20,000) starting November. It should be noted that none of these devices are slated for release in North America, but will still be sold in other regions where Lenovo phones are sold. ![831201514105PM_635_lenovo_phab_plus](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/831201514105PM_635_lenovo_phab_plus.jpeg)   Along with smartphones, Lenovo unveiled two ‘phabs’ as well. The Lenovo Phab Plus, which is the leading model, will sport a 6.8-inch 1920 x 1080 display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It will internal storage of 32GB and can be further expanded via microSD card slot. The Phab Plus sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash along with 5MP front camera. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, the smartphone is backed by a 3500mAh battery. The smartphone will be available in Metallic Grey and Midnight Blue colour variants. ![932015120432PM_635_lenovo_phab](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/932015120432PM_635_lenovo_phab.jpeg) Towards the end, the Lenovo Phab comes equipped 6.98-inch 720 x 1280 display powered by an unknown octa-core Qualcomm processor paired with 1GB RAM. It is backed by a 4250mAh battery and will be available in Tuxedo Black, Polar White, Aqua Blue, and Cherry Red colours. It will go on sale later this month, priced at $179 (approximately Rs 11,900).
