Lenovo has announced two new smartphones at the IFA 2014 - Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2. Both devices run Android 4.4 KitKat and ensure that you can take cool selfies with their 5MP and 8MP front-facing cameras, respectively.
Going with the current crop of smartphones, the Vibe X2 features a 5-inch full-HD and comes powered with a MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. On the storage front, one can expect 32GB internal storage. It runs Android KitKat along with a layer of Vibe UI on the top.
It also gets a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-camera for selfies and video conferences. It gets a 2300mAh battery and in terms of connectivity supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth and GPS. The whole package is fitted into a sleek 7.27mm profile and available in white, red, gold and dark grey colours.
The Vibe Z2 that was made official last month is also showcased at the event. The Vibe Z2 sports a bigger 5.5-inch 720p display. It is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor and 2GB RAM. Other specs include 32GB internal storage, Android 4.4 KitKat, 13MP rear snapper, 8MP front camera, Dual SIM capability and 3000mAh battery.
The Vibe X2 is priced at $399 (approximately Rs 24,000) and Vibe Z2 at $429 (approximately Rs 25,800). Both devices will be available this month in China, and select markets in October. There is no word on the availability in India yet.
