The Samsung netbook N510 unites High Definition (HD) entertainment with great portability. It has a 11.6-inch non-gloss LED display and features a 16:9 aspect ratio, so HD movies and games fill the entire screen without any distortion or annoying black bands.
The N510 also features a dedicated, high performance NVIDIA ION LE graphics card, an integrated SRS 2.1 sound system with 3 Watt stereo speakers, three USB 2.0 ports, including one that can charge portable devices, such as mobile phones and MP3 players, even when the netbook is turned off. It also boasts an HDMI port for quick connection to a television and a 3-in-1 memory card reader for easy data sharing.
The N510 also features a larger touchpad and a responsive full-size keyboard. Samsung maintains that it offers up to 7.0 hours of battery life and includes built-in Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, wireless LAN, 3G modem (HSPA/WiMAX) and WiBRO, for high-speed access to the Internet.
The netbook also features an internal microphone, headphone-out connection and integrated 1.3 megapixel digital motion camera that combines the resolution and image quality of a still camera with the sustained high frame rates of a video camera. The N510 like the N140 and N130 also offers a safe and hygienic personal computing environment with the the latest medical technology coating its anti-bacterial keyboard with a special finish.
The Samsung N510 will be available from early September.
