iBall has pulled the wraps off its newest 7-inch tablet in the Slide series dubbed 3G17. Though priced at an MRP of Rs 8,199, it is available online via Snapdeal for Rs 7,649. The e-retailer promises to dispatch the device within 2 business days.
The iBall Slide 3G17 comes with a similar set of specs as the company’s Slide 7236 2G , but has been upgraded to support 3G. The highlights of the tablet are its support for 3G and voice calling ability.
It sports a 7-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels of resolution, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The dual-SIM tablet comes fitted with a 2-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor, coupled with 512MB RAM.
The 4GB onboard storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On connectivity front, it comes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The dual-SIM, dual standby tablet is fuelled by a 2500 mAh battery.
Earlier this year, iBall had released the 3G 7334Q-10 with voice-calling functionality. Priced at Rs 11,499, the 7-inch tablet comes powered by a quad-core processor. Some of its features include 8GB onboard storage, microSD card slot, 2MP rear snapper and VGA front-facing camera.
