Just last week, EA collaborated with the folks over at Humble Bundle to bring us the Humble Origin Bundle . The bundle features some of EA’s best selling games, including Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror’s Edge and Medal of Honor. Paying over the average, which at the time of publishing stands at $4.82 (Rs 300 approx), will get you Battlefield 3 and The Sims 3 along with all of the DLC and expansions included in the Starter Pack.

The bundle has been highly successful and is well on its way to becoming the most successful Humble Bundle yet. At the time of publishing, the bundle sits on a neat pile of $6.9 million. The bundle still has 9 more days left to go, so the number will undoubtedly climb even higher. The total number of purchases so far has been 1.4 million. The top contributor to the bundle so far has been G2A.com, which has paid $2,345.67 for it.

Notably, EA won’t be getting any of the cut from the sales of the bundle. All the money will be split between the Humble Bundle crew and some charities, including the Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, San Francisco AIDS foundation, American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross. As is usual for the bundle, the buyers decide how much of the money goes where.

While buyers will get the Origin codes for all of these games, for some of them, buyers will also get the Steam codes. The games with Steam codes include Dead Space, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition, Mirror’s Edge and Medal of Honor.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
