The folks over at Humble Bundle seem to be dipping their toes into the digital distribution market. The company has announced the Humble Bundle Store , through which people can buy games at discounted prices. Unlike the usual Humble Bundle, however, games on the Humble Bundle Store won’t be pay-what-you-want. Instead, games will be available for limited-time discounts, with new games being added on rotation periodically. When buying games from the Humble Bundle Store, gamers will also end up donating to the American Red Cross, Child’s Play, Electronic Frontier Foundation, Charity: Water and the World Land Trust charities.

Kicking things off on day one are a bunch of indie games, including Klei Entertainment’s survival game Don’t Starve, management game Prison Architect, side-scrolling Metroidvania Rogue Legacy and co-op orc-murdering game Orcs Must Die 2, among others. When bought, the games will be available in a number of ways, including Steam as well as DRM-free versions. Games that support it will also be compatible with Mac and Linux.

The Humble Bundle will still continue to exist on its own, however, with the current bundle being the Humble WB Games Bundle , which includes AAA games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition, FEAR 2: Project Origin, FEAR 3 and Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Paying over the average for the pay-what-you-want bundle (currently at $4.63—Rs 293 approx) will also get you Scribblenauts Unlimited and Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition. The bundle currently sits on $3.4 million with 745,514 bundles having been sold at the time of writing.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
