Huawei launches Honor 6X, Honor Pad 2 tablet and Watch S1 in China

Huawei has launched a new tablet dubbed Honor Pad 2 and a smartwatch called Honor Watch S1. The Chinese smartphone maker announced the new devices during the launch of Honor 6X. There is no information on the availability of the devices in India as the launch was limited to China. The tablet will arrive in two variants, 16GB Wi-Fi-only and 32GB Wi-Fi-only. The 16GB variant of Honor Pad 2 will come at CNY 999 which translates to approximately Rs 9,900 at the time of writing. The 32GB variant of the device will be available at CNY 1,299, which translates to Rs 12,900 at the time of writing as reported by Phandroid.com. The Watch S1 smartwatch is priced at CNY 699, which is roughly Rs 6,900. It runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 along with 3GB RAM. The device is equipped with 4800mAh battery along with an 8MP camera module with LED flash on the rear and 2MP camera module on the front. The tablet includes all the basic connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, microUSB v2.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G-enabled Nano-SIM slot. The tablet also includes a microSD card slot to expand the storage of the device up to 256GB. The Watch S1 is designed to monitor health using the included heart-rate sensor. Huawei claims that the smartwatch will be water- resistant up to 50 meters and comes with interchangeable straps. The company also claims that the Watch S1 will run for six days on a single charge. The smartphone is powered by the new octa-core CPU Kirin 655. It will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB storage respectively. The smartphone is equipped with 12MP dual camera sensor on the back with 6P lens and phase detection auto-focus system. The 32GB variant with  3GB RAM is priced at CNY 999 (Rs 9,900), 32GB variant with 4GB RAM is priced at CNY 1299 (Rs 12,900) and 64GB model with 4GB RAM is priced at CNY 1599 (Rs 15,900).
