Huawei Honor Magic smartphone with curved body, dual cameras announced

Huawei has taken the wraps of its latest handset in the Honor segment. The Honor Magic is available for pre-order in China at a price of CNY 3700 (approx Rs 37,000). This makes it the most expensive Honor branded smartphone. The reason the Honor Magic is that expensive is because it is not like the other Honor devices we have seen so far. The phone comes with a 5.09-inch AMOLED display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The display has curved glass on both sides. ![honor Magic 1](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/honor-Magic-1.jpg) The Honor Magic also sports a dual 12MP camera setup on the rear side with an f/2.2 aperture along with an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ‘Honor Magic Live OS’ UI atop it. The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 950 chipset which has an octa-core processor. It is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone gets its juice from a 2900mAh battery which supports quick charging thanks to Huawei Magic Power charger. The USP of the Honor Magic apart from the curved display and dual cameras is the fact that it uses a digital assistant called DeepThink that collaborates with FaceCode. This uses the IR port on the camera to recognise your eyes to ensure that only you or people you trust can see your notifications. The phone comes in two colours namely Golden Black and Porcelain White. It weighs 145 g and measures 7.8mm thick.
