We recently got our first hands-on with the Huawei Honor 9 Lite. While the smartphone impressed, we expected the device to be priced below the Rs 20,000 mark. Today, Honor launched the smartphone at an event in Delhi and to our surprise, the smartphone brand has priced it at an affordable Rs 10,999.

Huawei announced two variants of the Honor 9 Lite, a 3 GB RAM 32 GB storage model priced at Rs 10,999 and a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage model at Rs 14,999. The device features a plastic frame sandwiched between two pieces of 2.5D glass, giving it a premium look, making it stand out from the current competition.
Below the screen sits a 5.65-inch Full HD+ display (2,160x1,080 pixels) featuring an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Inside Honor has packed in a HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset which similar to the stuff we have on the Honor 7X and the Honor 9i smartphones, higher up in the budget and mid range.

The smartphone will be available in two variants, a 3 GB+32 GB RAM+storage combination and a 4 GB+64 GB combination.
The camera features a 13 MP+ 2MP setup on the front and 13 MP+ 2MP setup for the primary.

Connectivity options include a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a micro USB port at the bottom. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and will be available in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Glacier Grey.
