A couple of days after the India launch of the Huawei P9, the Chinese phone maker has now launched the G9 Plus in its home country at a starting price of RMB 2,399 (approx Rs 24,200). The phone will start selling in China from 25 August.

A couple of days after the India launch of the Huawei P9 , the Chinese phone maker has now launched the G9 Plus in its home country at a starting price of RMB 2,399 (approx Rs 24,200). The phone will start selling in China from 25 August. Coming in an aluminum unibody design with rounded corners, the Huawei G9 Plus comes in a dual SIM configuration and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which has an octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with in-cell display and 2.5D curved arc on the phone. The Huawei G9 Plus comes in two variants - there is the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant which is priced at RMB 2,399 (approx Rs 24,200) and the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant which has yet to get a price. Both the variants support expandable storage to 128GB using a microSD card. In terms of camera, the G9 Plus gets a 16MP rear camera with phase detect AF and Optical image stabilisation. The camera supports 4K video recording as well. On the front, you get an 8MP fixed focus camera. The G9 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Emotion UI 4.1 skin atop it. The phone houses a 3340mAh non-removable battery.
