HTC U11 Plus launched in India with 18:9 aspect ratio display and 3930 mAh battery for Rs 56,990 on Flipkart

HTC U11 Plus launched in India with 18:9 aspect ratio display and 3930 mAh battery for Rs 56,990 on Flipkart

HTC, on 6 February, launched the **HTC U11 Plus** in India at a price of Rs 56,990. The phone can be considered as a slightly modified version of its flagship device  **U11** as HTC has fit in bigger battery and screen in the U11 Plus as compared to the U11. The phone will be available on Flipkart from 7 February onwards in a single colour of Amazing Silver. [caption id=“attachment_4338107” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]HTC U11 Plus. HTC U11 Plus.[/caption] The HTC U11 Plus employs an 18:9 aspect ratio sporting bezel-less 6-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and supports DCI-P3 colour space. The phone has a mammoth 3,930 mAh battery and includes a battery stamina mode which increases the battery by up to 30 percent. The phone retains the HTC Edge Sense technology from the U11 wherein the user has to squeeze the phone to open the voice assistant. The feature can be custom set to open any app the user wants and also open Edge Launcher, which provides easy one hand access to favourite apps and contacts. The HTC U11 Plus has both Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant and both of them can be accessed via voice commands even when the screen is off. Under the hood, the HTC U11 Plus is same as the U11 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835c SoC, 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and an expandable memory of up to 2 TB via a microSD card. The phone will run on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box overlaying HTC Sense. In the camera department, the phone has a 12 MP single lens camera with an f/1.7 aperture and dual-LED flash. The phone can shoot 4K video at 60 fps and also has OIS. The front camera has an 8 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. As far as connectivity goes the phone supports dual nano-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, type-C port with USB 3.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and also has IP68 Water protection.
