HTC has been working on an Android One-powered smartphone for a while now. While we already know a majority of its key features, new reports now suggest that the phone known as HTC U11 Life will be launched at an event on November 2.
The news reported by GSMArena points out that HTC U11 Life is likely to be priced at around 400 euros. U11 Life is not the only device that HTC will launch at the event. Instead, the company will launch U11 Plus alongside U11 Life.
A separate report by GSMArena claims that HTC U11 Life specifications were spotted on GeekBench benchmarking website clarifying some doubts about the specifications of the phone. The listing states that the U11 Life will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC instead of a Snapdragon 630 chipset. U11 Life will run Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box.
Other specifications include a 5.2-inch display along with 3 GB RAM, two 16 MP camera modules, one on the back of the device and another on the front of the device.
Based on what we already know, U11 Life is expected to inherit Edge Sense squeeze feature which was first introduced in the flagship U11 launched earlier this year. The company is also likely to pack IP 67 rating for water and dust resistance along with USonic headphone support, which hints at a missing 3.5 mm headphone jack. Last but not the least, U11 Life is likely to pack a 2,600 mAh battery.
