HTC to possibly debut quad-core handsets pre MWC

2012 is set to be the year where quad-core handsets make their entry into the world. Back in November it was reported that the first quad-core smartphone to come out was from HTC and was expected to make its first official appearance by late March or early April, which is the HTC Edge. However, as per a report by GSMArena, it appears that HTC can’t wait to show off a product and have sent an invite to the website about an event slated for the day before the Mobile World Conference 2012 starts.

A speedy handset coming next year
