Additionally, the company also made the announcement via Twitter “We’re roasting marshmallows this fall! We’ll begin our Android 6.0 rollout to devices before the end of the year.” Through the years, HTC users have been a part of the lucky few to get their hands first on the latest Android OS. Looks like this time the company will follow the same pattern.

HTC One M9 and HTC One M8 will most likely receive Android Marshmallow before the year-end. Other phones expected to receive the update will be HTC One M9+, HTC One E9, HTC One E9+, HTC One ME, HTC One (E8), HTC One (M8 Eye), HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816.

In recent leaks , we have also seen renders of the alleged HTC One A9. The company could possibly unveil this smartphone during the event.

The images come from none other than @evleaks, who is known to disclose accurate information about unannounced devices. The front side shows a button that could possibly serve as a fingerprint scanner. Going by the rumours and leaks, there is no concrete specs sheet out yet and one can expect anything from a high-end deca-core Helio X20 processor to a more mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 617 and 4GB of RAM.
