HTC One M8 gets Android 4.4.3 update in India, supports 4G LTE

HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the One M8 in India, which also enables it to run on faster 4G LTE networks, as promised by the company during the launch of the HTC One E8 and Desire 616. The Android 4.4.3 update includes bug fixes and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and network enhancements. It also includes updates for the camera, gallery, settings and HTC Sync Manager and optimisations to BoomSound, Extreme Power Saving Mode, Motion Launch and Quick Settings.

HTC has started rolling out the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the One M8 in India, which also enables it to run on faster 4G LTE networks, as promised by the company during the launch of the HTC One E8 and Desire 616.

The Android 4.4.3 update includes bug fixes and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and network enhancements. It also includes updates for the camera, gallery, settings and HTC Sync Manager and optimisations to BoomSound, Extreme Power Saving Mode, Motion Launch and Quick Settings. The new firmware version has a hefty file size of 659MB.

The HTC One M8 supports TD-LTE, which means it can run on LTE networks in India. With the latest update you can switch to 4G LTE for faster Internet speeds, provided 4G LTE is available in your area. As of now, 4G LTE is available in 15 cities in India, including Chandigarh, Bangalore, Pune and Kolkata. Other Android smartphones that can work on 4G LTE in India include the LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 .

HTC One M8 is a premium Android smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 801 quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5 GHz. It has 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
