HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM smartphone launched in India starting at Rs 10,400

The dual SIM handset will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants starting this week, priced at Rs 10,400 and Rs 11,400, respectively.

HTC Desire 526G+ dual SIM smartphone launched in India starting at Rs 10,400

HTC expands its Desire range of smartpones in India with the all new 526G+. The dual SIM handset will be available in 8GB and 16GB variants starting this week, priced at Rs 10,400 and Rs 11,400, respectively. Sporting a 4.7-inch display, the smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor. It comes equipped with an 8MP rear snapper and a 2MP front-facing camera. The 8/16GB onboard storage is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Tony Navin, Senior Vice President, Electronics & Home, Snapdeal.com, said, “India is globally one of the most attractive smartphone markets and smartphones are one of the fastest growing segments for Snapdeal.com. The users are seeking devices that are feature rich at an affordable price and HTC Desire 526G+ is a good fit for Indian market.” It runs Android 4.4 KitKat with a layer of HTC Sense. One can also take advantage of HTC’s BlinkFeed that brings your favorite content direct to your home screen. The Offline Reading mode lets users view articles from their personal feed, drawn from more than 20,000 articles a day from leading media companies, aiming to offer an easy option for those on a limited data plan. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0. Some other features are Smart SIM Switch and 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 139.8 x 69.65 x 9.8 mm and weighs 154g. Finally, a 2,000mAh battery completes the package. Both variants will be available this week. The 8GB model will be available exclusively on Snapdeal while the 16GB model via all major retailers across the country.
