HTC’s Butterfly S has finally made it to the Indian market and is available online at different price points. Saholic has put it up for Rs 52,428 and the shipping date is only by the 11th or the 13th of September. On the other hand, Infibeam has placed a price tag of Rs 54,990 on the Butterfly S and just says “Coming soon” against the shipping date. Both sites offer a certain discount as the MRP of the smartphone is revealed as Rs 60,300.
Successor to the original Butterfly that was launched last year, the Butterfly S follows the current crop by sporting a large 5-inch 1080p Full HD display. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 scratch-resistant protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor that clock at 1.9GHz, with 2GB RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2.2, and also gets a layer of HTC Sense 5 UI along with the HTC Blinkfeed. Blinkfeed transforms the phone’s homescreen into a dynamic list of titles and social network updates.
