HTC 10, One M9 and Desire 10 Pro Android 7.0 update rolling out in various regions

HTC has reportedly started rolling out the new Android 7.0 Nougat update for three of its devices, namely the HTC 10 , HTC One M9 and the HTC Desire 10 Pro . Currently the One A9 has received the update while rest of the mentioned smartphones were getting the update in a few regions. Now we have confirmation from HTC’s Product and Service Director, Graham Wheeler who wrote, “HTC 10 Nougat starts rolling out today. UK first more regions to follow soon.” https://twitter.com/wheelergd/status/823825195098140676 The HTC 10 had started getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update in select regions back starting November while the HTC One M9 also received the Nougat update in December but was limited to certain regions. According to a source, the Android Nougat update is available via OTA update with the HTC 10 having a size of 1.17GB, the update for the HTC 10 Lifestyle is about 1.15GB and the HTC One M9 is getting the OTA update of about 1.27GB in size. HTC had announced soon after Google released Android 7.0 Nougat last year, that the HTC 10, HTC One M9, and HTC One A9 will receive the update sometime in the fourth quarter. However it has been late in the rollout as certain regions have still not got the update. We have tried updating the HTC 10 and a Desire 10 Pro unit here in India but haven’t received it as of yet.
