Just on the heel of Microsoft's new Surface Pro 4 announcement, HP has pulled the wraps off its new similar device dubbed Spectre x2.

Now, this isn't the first time that HP has built a hybrid, but one can't overlook the built-in kickstand that is first for the company. "Far from being just an imposter, though, the x2 sets itself apart in several key ways, with a more adjustable kickstand and a sturdy, potentially more comfortable keyboard," points our Engadget.

Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 4 at an event recently.

However, what really sets it apart is the keyboard that comes bundled with the device, and one won't have to  buy it separately. But users will have to buy the HP Active Pen for writing, drawing, and easy navigation separately.

It also runs Windows 10, so you can be rest assured about the computing tasks. The HP Spectre x2 is also believed to be capable of taking great pictures with the help of its three cameras, explains Windows blog. So, there's one on the rear for capturing lectures, PowerPoint presentations, or other note-taking opportunities, and two in the front for selfies. It also allows taking 3D pictures using both cameras at once.

Priced at  $799.99 that is approximately Rs 52,000, the Spectre x2 offers M3, M5, and M7 processor options, with 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage. It has an SD card reader and two USB-C connectors.

The HP Spectra x2 will be up for grabs in the US starting November 8.
