HP has decided to venture back in the gaming world with the revamped Omen Series. The company has announced four products in it’s latest effort to refresh the Omen series. The products announced include two laptops, both with black colour and dragon red highlights, a desktop and a Quad HD Monitor.
HP has branded all the products with VooDoo branding, the company’s sub brand focused on offering gaming products. The laptops come in two display sizes - the smaller 15.6-inch display powered by Intel Core i3 processors and the larger 17.3-inch display powered by Intel i5 processor.
Both models can be configured up to sixth generation Intel i7 processor, 16GB RAM, 4TB Storage or 128GB SSD and Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M graphics. The prices for the smaller model start at $899.99 while the larger one is priced at $979.99 with availability starting from 10 July.
The Omen Desktop comes with a 32-inch Quad HD monitor to be launched around in August with unspecified specs and pricing. The Omen Tower will use “small microATX form factor” offering options like Nvidia’s Founders Edition graphics cards and water cooling as reported by The Verge .
HP specified that all its products are VR Gaming-ready in terms of specifications and power. HP brought the previous generation of HP Omen series last year to India, we covered the same in detail in our review. You can check the review here .
