HP brings Pavilion x360, Envy 15 and new AIO in India

HP announced a new range of Pavilion series consumer notebooks and touch convertible PCs at the HP APJ Media Summit in Mumbai today. With the new Pavilion lineup, HP is looking to target the younger generation, but coming out not just with colourful notebooks, but also accessories such as headphones to go along with them. The new HP Pavilion notebook series, HP Pavilion x360, HP Pavilion 23 All-in-one and the HP ENVY 15 were on display.   HP Pavilion 14 and Pavilion 15 series feature colourful unibody designs aimed at preventing flex and stress on the device. They come in silver, white, blue and red colours and feature dual-speakers with Beats Audio technology. The pricing for this series starts from Rs 39,990.   [caption id=“attachment_226876” align=“aligncenter” width=“768”] ![HP Pavilion x360 being used in the stand mode. Just like the Lenovo Flex 2, you can use the HP Pavilion x360 in stand mode, tent mode or the tablet mode. It has an 11.6-inch LED backlit LCD anti-glare screen.   An Intel Pentium quad-core Bay Trail processor powers the x360 and it has 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard drive. Windows 8 comes installed on the x360. Just like the Pavilion notebook, the x360 also comes with Beats Audio and dual-speaker configuration. It is priced at Rs 39,990.   [caption id=“attachment_226873” align=“aligncenter” width=“768”] ![Notice the two vertical strips around the track pad. The unique feature of this Windows 8.1 touch-enabled notebook is the Control Zone trackpad which is optimised for Windows 8. Basically, the trackpad on the HP ENVY 15 has been expanded on the right and left hand side which work with Windows 8 side-gestures from the track pad itself. Which means, you can slide from the right hand side and select one of the five options from the trackpad itself without using the mouse pointer. It comes with 1TB of storage space. To be available from July 20 onwards, it is priced at Rs 62,990.   [caption id=“attachment_226872” align=“aligncenter” width=“768”] ![HP Pavilion 23 All-in-one comes with a touch-sensitive monitor, Windows 8 and is priced around Rs 67,990](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DSCN0464.jpg) HP Pavilion 23 All-in-one comes with a touch-sensitive monitor, Windows 8 and is priced around Rs 67,990[/caption] All-in-One is one category which big players such as HP are still betting on. And surely, there was a 23-inch HP Pavilion 23 AIO on display as well. This AIO comes with either Intel or AMD processors. It also has an HP TrueVision HD web camera. The price point starts from Rs 67,990 and it will start selling from July 20 onwards.   [caption id=“attachment_226871” align=“aligncenter” width=“768”] ![With colourful headphones, differently coloured tablet covers on display, HP is clearly targetting the younger crowd](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/DSCN0452.jpg) With colourful headphones, differently coloured tablet covers on display, HP is clearly targetting the younger crowd[/caption] Apart from the above notebooks and AIO, HP also showcased accessories to go along with the new Pavilion series. These accessories will start selling from August 7 onwards. Even the HP Slate and HP Slate VoiceTabs have got around five new coloured back covers starting from Rs 1,199.
