A few days ago Honor became the first company to publicly showcase a smartphone which would have a hole in the display for the front-facing camera. This smartphone was the Honor View 20 but it is slated for a launch only on 26 December in China. At the event, a few things were confirmed about the phone such as the All-View Display, a new Link Turbo technology, a new Sony IMX586 sensor and the Kirin 980 chipset. Image: tech2/Kshitij Pujari[/caption] As per a Weibo post , the phone has been reportedly spotted on the benchmarking website AnTuTu with an impressive score of 291,244. This makes sense since the phone is powered by the latest 7nm octa-core Kirin 980 SoC, coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS2.1 flash storage. For comparison, the OnePlus 6T , Mate 20 Pro, and Galaxy Note 9 had scores of 287,776, 307,059 and 235,456. [caption id=“attachment_5722551” align=“alignnone” width=“1280”]AnTuTu scores for View 20. We expect the device to be priced competitively with the OnePlus 6T. The phone will be announced in Beijing on 26 December while the global launch in Paris is scheduled for 22 January.
