Honor announces 'Swag Day' on Amazon, offers additional exchange discount on Honor 6X

Honor has announced a new promotion called ‘Swag Day’ for its budget handset, Honor 6X, which was announced back in January. The company is offering an extra discount of Rs 1,500 if one exchanges their old smartphone for the smartphone on 8 April. The Swag Day offer will be available on Amazon India. From 9 April onwards, customers will get Rs 1,000 additional discount an exchange of their old smartphone till April end. According to Honor, if a customer buys the Honor 6X on 8 April and exchanges a smartphone valued at Rs 5,000, then the total discount will be Rs 6,500 (Rs 6,000+Rs 1,500). Consumers can do the same all through April but the additional discount will only be Rs 1,000. The Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass, a Kirin 655 octa-core chipset with Mali-T830MP2 GPU. There is a 3 GB RAM  and 32 GB internal storage variant as well as a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage option. Both the variants offer a microSD car expansion. Rest of the features include a 3,340 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner while connectivity options include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, microUSB. The highlight of the smartphone is the dual-camera setup at the back which a combination of a 12 MP sensor and a 2 MP sensor. There is also phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and an LED flash while at the front, there is an 8 MP camera. As for the pricing, the 3 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,999, while for 4 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 15,999.
