The latest flagship phone from Huawei called as the Honor 8 Pro is going to be sold exclusively on Amazon starting 12 AM IST on 13 July, 2017 for all users, including the non-prime members of Amazon. The phone was first made available exclusively for Amazon Prime subscribers on the Amazon 'Primeday' sale.
The handset is priced at Rs 29,999 and features a new design, gets rid of the glass back and goes in for a polished, all-metal build with a price-tag that should go neck and neck with the just launched OnePlus 5 flagship smartphone. Buyers can avail a Vodafone offer of free 45GB of data for five months along with the purchase of data packs that offer 1GB or more of data. This offer is available for all phones exclusive to Amazon, till the end of the month.
Honor 8 Pro offers a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) IPS LCD display with a Gorilla Glass 3 screen protecting it. The chipset features an 8-core setup with 4x Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and 4x Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. There’s 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using using a microSD card.
The Huawei Honor 8 Pro offers a dual 12 MP + 12 MP camera setup at the rear with an aperture of f/2.2. The front facing camera for selfies offers an 8 MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. he smartphone is just 7 mm thick which is quite an achievement because it packs in a 4,000 mAh battery inside.
