Even though the game’s not “officially” out, Io Interactive has released an official patch for Hitman: Blood Money. The patch deals with quite a few graphical issues and certain issues regarding SLi machines. Even though these bugs aren’t game-breaking, this patch will ensure smoother play. Here’s a detailed look at the fixes provided in the patch:
- Low performance problems that have been experienced on some hardware configurations
- Game crashing to the desktop when transitioning between levels after extended play sessions
- Items getting stuck in mid-air if game was saved and then loaded directly after a throwing action
- The Hitman logo on the main menu which could disappear at 1280x720 resolution
- Screen borders on cutscenes being displayed badly at certain screen resolutions
- Game crashing if the menu is invoked on death sequence after a 3 headshot revival has been performed
- Game crashing when loading and saving within certain locations after making changes to render options
- Blurring of weapon upgrade icons when running at low in render options
- Very occasional graphic corruption when using fibre-wire in 1st person and moving camera very quickly
- Slightly oversized red dot scope zoom

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
