Here's why Mortal Kombat on the Xbox360 is Missing an Exclusive Fighter

If you’ve been following the new Mortal Kombat game, you’d know by now that the PS3 version of the game ships with an exclusive, playable character in the form of the God of War himself, Kratos. Now Ed Boon would have liked to put in some sort of exclusive character for the Xbox360 version, as well but it seems mysterious forces did not allow him to do so.

Here’s a rather cryptic quote in a recent interview with Eurogamer , “Unfortunately, the circumstances didn’t allow us to make a 360 exclusive. I’m not allowed to talk too much about it, but I can tell you we certainly wanted to do an exclusive for 360, but that’s all I can say. It was not a decision we made where we said, oh, let’s not do one for the 360.”

It’s a pity really or gamers could have finally pit Kratos against Master Chief, or Marcus Fenix. On another note, expect our review next week.
