Indeed few will get to see one in the flesh, but YouTuber Speedracer38 was lucky enough to get a proper in-car experience, in a rare Ferrari, that’s meant only for a special few. We’re talking about the race-bred Ferrari FXX K and it just clocked 200mph at the Daytona International Speedway with one lucky YouTube user in it. It’s been a long week for Ferrari and while we have seen plenty of YouTubers raving about the exotics parked all over the place, Speedracer38 got to sit in one and experience the thrills of riding at 200mph. The FXX K is based on the LaFerrari which is a road car. Only 40 were built and they come with a ton of improvements over the road car. The owners would be some really rich CEOs for whom Ferrari will ship their race cars down to Daytona just to let them go full throttle on a race track. This is more so because owners are not allowed to drive them anywhere else. Coming to the specifications of this beast. Carved out of the LaFerrari, the FXX K is meant to deliver a pure racing experience for its owners and deliver data to Ferrari to help with work on their future cars. There’s a 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V-12 engine combined with an electric motor that belts out a total of 1,036hp. This is more that its road going, street-legal sibling that produces 949hp. There’s wings and plenty more downforce which provides handling that is way better than the street-legal version and then there’s that 2 million dollar price tag. At the Ferrari Finali Mondiali race, which took place at Daytona, Florida, Ferrari also auctioned off the 500th LaFerrari for a cool $7 million, the proceeds of which went for earthquake relief. Also unveiled at the event was the 2017 Ferrari 488 Challenge race car.
