Apple Music was launched in India on June 30. With the release of iOS 8.4, the new service was made accessible in 100 countries and India wasn’t ignored. To encourage users to get a feel of Apple Music, Apple allowed a free trial period of 3 months. And in case you have been listening to your favourite artists over the past 3 months, that’s about to end tomorrow. To ensure you aren’t charged you will need to go to the Settings within Apple Music. Here’s what you need to do: 1. First, you need to go to Settings. Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen. 2. Tap on iTunes & App Store 3. Tap on your Apple ID. In case you use multiple Apple IDs across all your devices, please check that this is the Apple ID with your payment details tied in, to ensure you are not charged. 4. Tap View Apple ID. To continue, you may need to sign in. 5. Under Subscriptions, tap Manage. 6. This is where you check if you are using the correct Apple ID which has your payment details tied to it.
7. Now you will see a list of services you are subscribed to. Here, select Apple Music.
8. Turn Automatic Renewal to OFF. Once you follow these steps, you can sit back and focus on the music you love, without bothering about being charged any extra money you weren’t keen on spending.
