Here is how Xiaomi's near bezel-less Mi Mix 2 smartphone compares to the competition

Xiaomi has launched the much anticipated Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 at a launch event in New Delhi. The company has already announced the second generation of the device globally at a launch event on 11 September 2017. Image credit: Xiaomi[/caption] The smartphone-maker has priced the Mi Mix 2 at Rs 35,999 for the 128 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM variant. The device will be available on Flipkart, Mi Home stores and offline retail partners of Xiaomi from the first week of November. India will only get this variant of the device instead of the three variants with 64, 128 and 256 GB internal storage launched in China. The Mi Mix 2 is the most expensive smartphone that Xiaomi has launched in India. The company has improved on the near bezel-less design that it introduced to the world with its first Xiaomi Mi Mix last year. The first generation of the device was termed as a ‘Concept Phone’ as the company started the development of the phone with the quest to explore the future of the smartphone. So, we selected iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, OnePlus 5, and HTC U11. The reason to selected these smartphones is that all these devices are considered as 2017 flagships and some of them even feature a bezel-less design.
