Head bang on GWAR? Loved Twisted Metal more than your parents? Do you have a pentagram made of your very own blood under your bed? Is Satan your master? Like your games extreme? Well if you do, (then you’re probably stuck in a time-warp), you’re in for a “hell” of a treat as Earache Extreme Metal Racing is all set to make its big screen debut on the PC, PS2 and PSP.

The game was designed by Gothic metaller Sky Nash when she was just 15 years old and is being published by Metro 3D in conjunction with Earache Records and Data Design Interactive.

Earache Extreme Metal Racing will feature ten evil Earache racing teams burning a lot more than rubber through hell and other wastelands. Along with themed tracks from the combatants on the starting grid there’ll also be a plethora of extreme Earache classics making up the soundtrack of the game from such luminaries as Napalm Death, At The Gates, Cathedral, The Haunted, Hate Eternal, Cult Of Luna, Beecher, Urkraft, Anata, Mistress, Severe Torture and many others. (What, no K.I.S.S.??)

If for some reason, you’re remotely interested in this Twisted Metal redux you could grab the PC demo here or wait for the 7th of July when its released on all three formats. For more info on this game, head on over to the game’s official site , but make sure your headphone/speaker volume’s turned down; if you don’t want bleeding ears that is.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
