Hands-on with the quad-core Panasonic P51

Panasonic launched its first smartphone for India, the P51, earlier today and we managed to get some hands-on time with the attractive-looking phone. The phone’s unibody construction certainly makes a striking first impression and it looks to be a superbly-built handset.

In terms of specs too, the P51 has things going for it. The quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor is certainly capable of handling intensive tasks and the 5-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display is another feather in its cap. Then there’s the 8 megapixel snapper on the back. The P51 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with only the most minor customisations. Here’s a closer look at the smartphone.
