Grudge Match - Mitashi Vs Onida 24-inch LED TV

This TV Grudge Match will see two entry-level Full HD LED backlit TVs being pitted against each other, the Mitashi 24-inch LED and the Onida Svelte 24-inch LED. Both TVs are quite similar to each other in terms of features; they’re both Full HD LED backlit TVs and are priced competitively.

What I really liked about this TV was the black levels and the overall picture quality. I also liked the fact that it is quite easy to use. However, there was noticeable image lag especially in fast moving scenes, the build quality seems a little cheap and the sound isn’t all that great. But this TV is priced pretty well, making it a good buy for those looking for an entry level LED backlit TV.

Onida Svelte 24-inch LED TV (LEO24HMSAR)
This TV looks great and has nice black levels and colours. It also has slightly better sound than the Mitashi and the build quality is better as well. On the other hand, there are quite a few things I didn’t like about this TV such as the confusing remote and bad response time.

The Mitashi scores over the Onida where picture quality and response time is concerned. The Onida Svelte seems to have been built better, but setting it up is a real pain. The Mitashi, on the other hand, is easy to use, but has some pretty bad sound, which is actually nothing a decent set of speakers can’t fix.
