Rockstar Games’ Indian game distributor—e-xpress Interactive—has announced the pre-orders for the Special Edition of Grand Theft Auto V. The Special Edition contains a steelbook, exclusive artwork, a blueprint map and some in-game goodies like ability boosts, vehicles, side-missions and weapons. Pre-orders are available from online shopping website Flipkart and brick-and-mortar store Game The Store, and costs Rs 3,299 for both consoles.

The exclusive artwork in the special edition is a double-sided, never-before-seen artwork of the main characters of the upcoming game—Michael, Trevor and Franklin. The Blueprint Map is a 21.5 x 26.75 inch map that shows a blueprint view of the city of Los Santos and the surrounding Blaine County. It also has markings that indicate fast cash and other points of interest for up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

The in-game goodies are the special ability boost, which boosts the regeneration for the special ability bar for all three characters, Stunt Plane Trials, which are single player aerial challenges that you can take on with a stunt plane, bonus outfits for all three characters with character specific tattoos at tattoo parlours and special deals from shopkeepers, and additional free weapons to start the game with, including a .50 Pistol, Bullpup Shotgun and a hammer for some melee action.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to come out for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on September 17. There is no word from Rockstar yet about a PC version of the game, but there are rumours floating around that the game might make it to the next-gen consoles.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
