A game without any bugs whatsoever is just not possible, and that goes double for open-world games. While Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5 might be good, it doesn’t mean that the game is bug-free. The company has announced that a number of gamers have been complaining about losing all of the modifications made to vehicles stored in their garages. According to the Rockstar Games support page, the company recommends avoiding using the garage for now. It is currently working on a fix, which will make its way to the game soon.
Careful not to spend all of your money on customising cars
According to Rockstar, “We have received some reports about problems with cars and garages, particularly after upgrading and then completing a mission, and are looking into this now. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a workaround to recover a car if it is missing. If you would like to receive an automatic email notification as soon as there is more information, please log into the Support Site and click Subscribe at the top of this page.”
Apparently, the bug is caused if you drive another character’s “personal” vehicle. Because of this, Rockstar recommends that gamers should avoid driving another character’s personal vehicle when a different character is selected. For example, when playing Franklin, avoid driving Michael’s sedan.
Grand Theft Auto 5 hit stores last week and has been quite successful. It has been one of the biggest launches in entertainment so far after having earned more than $800 million in the first day of launch and more than $1 billion over the next couple of days. The game is currently out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for Rs 2,999.
