SoundCloud is taking its ties with Google to the next level now. The popular online audio distribution platform has announced that it is now making it easier for its users to reach their audiences by sharing sounds to Google+, the popular social networking site by Google.
Users can share any SoundCloud URL to their Google+ circles and the widget will appear automatically in the post. Users, though, will have to ensure that they enable the widget when they post their sounds to the social networking site. Not only that, once the changes set it, users and their followers will be able to play sounds from SoundCloud within Google+, without having to open up a new tab.
The added Google+ Sign-In feature claims to make it easier for users to share their sounds and audio tracks with their circles on the service.
Share SoundCloud URLs to your Google+ circles
For those not in the know, Sound Cloud had launched Google+ Sign-In integration earlier this year, allowing its users to sign into the service using their Google account. The service had officially started rolling out the Google+ Sign-In feature for its iOS and Android apps then, ensuring that its users are able to log in to the apps with not just Facebook or registered email ID but also with their Google ID, thereby linking their Google+ profile with the music service.
Artistes like Pearl Jam, Snoop Lion and Armin Van Buuren are already using the integration to share their latest tracks (look out for the hashtags: #soundcloudplus and #summersound).
SoundCloud allows its users to upload, record, promote and share their original sounds. It is being used widely by new and established artistes globally. One can also head to the site to discover cool music.
