Google updates Slides and Sheets app on Android

Google has updated the Slide presentation app for Android users and has introduced a few new features. The latest version is now available for download from the Google Play Store . According to a report by The Next Web , the new update will allow you to move forward or backward through your slide deck using buttons in a lock screen notification, reducing the need to unlock your phone every time. In addition, you can also click on the ‘Disconnect’ option to exit a presentation from the same notification. In other features, users can now switch to video when presenting to an audience on Google Hangouts. One will have to tap the video camera icon and they will be able to see other Hangout participants and attach them to their screen. In addition to the above enhancements to the Slides Android app, this latest release also includes improvements to the Google Sheets Android app. Charts in Sheets will now allow you to display data in ways that are often easier to understand. Users can now insert charts and change their type using the Sheets Android app as well.
