 "Google Secretly Develops and Launches Disco, a Group Messaging App")
A hullabaloo wasn’t made of it but Google has developed and launched a Group Messaging App and a corresponding website, Disco . It’s an iPhone app that like Beluga and GroupMe, enables group messaging. Google launched both, a website and the app (in beta, in the Apple app store), using the domain Disco.com that it bought last year at Domainfest for $255,000 (approx Rs. 11,393,400). It is developed by Slide, a social app developer purchased by Google for $182 million, and Disco is its first app post the Google purchase. Even though Slide is owned by Google, it functions autonomously within the Google system and this project is unrelated to Google’s “Plus One’ social projects. Slide’s last iPhone app before the Google purchase was Super Poke.

Disco is available for free for the iPhone and requires iOS 4.0 or higher.
