Known to frequently tweak its products, Google has now spruced up its Search feature. The Search giant will now add slightly more information about the sites you are accessing.
In an official blog post , Google said that the change is in order to help users learn more about the websites they see in search results. Users will be able to view additional information about the site directly on the results page.
One will find a small triangle and the name of the company right next to the search result. Simply click on the name next to the link to check it out. However, the service is currently available only when one searches from their desktop. Google will be showing the additional details pulled from its Knowledge Graph .
The blog post says that the feature is applicable for only those sites that are widely recognized as notable online, “when there is enough information to show or when the content may be handy for you”. As the Knowledge Graph service expands, the feature will provide with more information about more websites.
Google has already rolled out the feature globally, and the changes are reflecting in Google India search results too.
