Google has released the official version of Play Music for Google Glass. The app, with All Access integration is already available to explorers who own the wearable.

The app was officially announced by Google Glass Engineer Stephen Lau in a Google+ post . He said that the app was now live on the MyGlass page and can be installed by anyone who own Glass. However, he also has a piece of caution; if you’ve sideloaded Music2.apk on Glass, you should uninstall it for the official version of Google Music to install correctly.

The app looks like it has most features that a Glass owner would need. It adds a new “Listen to” command on the Glass menu, using which you will be able to command Glass to use the Play Music app. You can simply say, “OK Glass, listen to,” followed by the name of a song, artiste, album or playlist to start listening to it right away. According to a report by Android Police , a Live Card will also supplement the music, displaying information about the artiste, the name of the song and certain basic commands you can use in order to pause, skip or change the songs.

The release of the app comes only a little after Google has made stereo earbuds with interchangeable caps available for Google Glass owners. According to Android Police, it will cost $85. Google had already made mono earbuds available with the updated version of Glass that is to be released to the Explorer programme by the end of the year.
