Google Pixel event is slated for 5 October 2016 where the company will launch the new hardware lineup in place of the existing Nexus lineup. Even though, there is no certainty about these changes being exclusive to Pixel devices and being general changes to Android Nougat 7.1. But, the **recently leaked Pixel launcher apk** gave us a closer look at the change in design philosophy with the upcoming launcher. The leaked screenshot gives us a closer look at new redesigned, circular icons along with new navigation button icons. These launcher shortcuts function almost similar to Apple force touch shortcuts. Even though the exact activation and functioning of launcher app shortcut implemented by Google are not known but the leaked press render does confirm the presence of new icon style.
