Google offers tour of sites with updated aerial, satellite imagery

Google, in an official post on its Maps blog, has announced that it has published its newest batch of aerial, satellite and 45-degree imagery. In the blog post, Google takes readers on a short tour of some of its chosen locations from the new batch. Google’s geo data specialist, Eric Kolb writes that the aerial and satellite imagery in Google Maps and Google Earth has been updated for 164 cities and 108 countries/ regions. 

The post shares further that the collection of 45-degree imagery in Google Maps was recently expanded to include 40 more US cities and 20 more international cities, including Luxembourg and Romania for the first time.
