Google Nexus 9 launched in India at Rs 28,900, available on Amazon

While the Nexus 9 is listed on the Google Play Store as ‘coming soon’, HTC has gone ahead and released their much talked about Nexus 9 tablet on  Amazon India at Rs 28,900. Amazon is also giving away a gift card worth Rs 2,000 with Nexus 9 if purchased before December 12. HDFC Bank is also offering 10% cash back on using HDFC debit of credit card on purchases above 3,999. The Nexus 9 is has an 8.9-inch screen with 2048x1536 pixel resolution. The Android 5.0 Lollipop based tablet is powered by 64-bit quad-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor clocked in at 2.3GHz which is paired up with 2GB RAM. The device is available in two variants namely 16GB and 32GB. The tablet also features an 8MP rear camera along with a 1.6MP front facing camera. It also has a non removable 6700mAh battery which is said to last for approximate 9.5 hours. In terms of appearance, though the design is plastic, HTC has added in metallic frames on the sides and has also placed front-facing speakers. As of now, only the 16GB variant is available for grab on the website. Recent **reports** suggest that the Google Nexus 6 is now officially available for purchase on Flipkart priced at Rs 43,999. The Nexus 6 sports a 5.96-inch 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution display, runs on a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 with Adreno 420 GPU, backed by 3GB of RAM. The phone is fuelled by a 3,220 mAh battery, which Google claims provides up to 24 hours of battery life.
